Leadership

The NSYC is headed by the Executive Committee, headed by the Executive Director, directly responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre and answerable to the Board of Directors, which is the highest decision-making body of the Centre, responsible for policy making and supervision of the management, operation and performance of the NSYC.

Board of Directors

The NSYC is overseen by a Board of Directors, headed by the President, assisted by the Deputy President, the Secretary, Treasurer, Legal Counsel and Goodwill Ambassador who shall be the Spokesperson of the Centre, in addition to the Executive Director, who is an Ex-Officio member. The Board of Directors is the policy making and supervisory Body of the NSYC, responsible for overseeing the administration, management and performance of the Centre. The Board of Directors is responsible for the appointment of the Executive Committee of the NSYC, headed by the Executive Director, who is responsible for the day to day running of the Centre and answerable to the Board. The Board of Directors is also responsible for spearheading fundraising and resource mobilization for the NSYC.

The NSYC is headed by the Executive Committee, which is responsible for the day to day management and operation of the Centre. The Executive Committee of the NSYC is appointed by the Board of Directors and headed by the Executive Director, who is directly answerable to the Board of Directors and an Ex-Officio member of the Board of Directors.

The Executive Director is assisted by two Deputy Executive Directors, who include: A Deputy Executive Director for Administration and Finance, and a Deputy Executive Director for Programs, who are members of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee of the NSYC, also comprises of Directors, including: Director for Administration, Director for Finance and Director for Human Resource, who directly report to the Deputy Executive Director for Administration and Finance. Other Directors include: Director for Education Programs, Director for Health Programs and the Director for Youth Empowerment, Director for Livelihood Programs, who report directly to the Deputy Executive Director for Programs.

Our Strategic

The NSYC will start with low-cost initiatives and measures, deploying and making use of local materials on the ground to establish quick-start low-cost structures and facilities, sufficient enough to get started, as special efforts are exerted towards fundraising and resource mobilization, to further support the development of the NSYC, into a fully-fledged Centre for child development and youth empowerment.

Our Sustainability

The NSYC envisions a model of gradually moving towards self-sustainability in the future, through various youth empowerment and livelihood programs operating under the Centre, envisioned to develop into Production Centres for agriculture and animal rearing, to sustainably produce food for the Youth Centre, in addition to other livelihood and youth empowerment skills development programs like brick making and masonry, to produce bricks and self-sustainably establish structures for the Youth Centre, including classrooms and dormitories, in addition to other skills development programs like carpentry, to produce furniture for the Centre, including windows, doors, chairs, tables, cupboards and beds, among others, in addition to tailoring, to produce clothing and uniforms for the children, with surplus production for the market, to generate income to support the operations of the Centre.
